JAGUAR

2010 Jaguar SUV
Is not the first time you hear about a future SUV coming from Jaguar, we know that. And now that Tata is the new owner of Jaguar, they have confirmed that a crossover-SUV is under consideration. Having this statement, we took the liberty to get wild, and here’s how we think the future SUV will look like.
Long time ago, about two years ago, Jaguar boss Joe Greenwell said: "Are we looking at it? Yes. But we’re not about to launch it." So this means the car will not be launched before 2010. We also have to consider that the priorities are: a facelift XJ sedan, F-Type and XF Coupe. And only after this three we will see a SUV coming from Jaguar.
The future SUV will come as a direct competition for the newly launched BMW X6.
Even if there are no informations about the SUV’s specifications, we presume the output will be somewhere between 300 hp for a base version, and will go up to 400 hp for the top of the line. It will make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in about 5.5 seconds, while the top speed will be around 155 mph.
People said Jaguar will not build a SUV because it will interfere with Land Rover’s customers. But the two companies have two different targets: the Jaguar is more for the one looking for the luxury, while Land Rover is for the sporty ones. And now, with Jaguar getting a new owner we have more reasons to really believe there will be a SUV in the future. So, stay tuned!
2010 Jaguar XJ
The all-new Jaguar XJ made its official debut at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, London. The car is now available for order and prices for UK starts from £52,500 for the standard wheelbase 3.0-liter V6 diesel luxury.
The 2010 XJ is the first Jaguar model built on Jaguar’s aerospace-inspired aluminum body technology. It will be available with a choice of new ultra-efficient Gen III petrol and diesel engines: 3.0-liter V6 diesel, 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 and 5.0-liter supercharged V8.
Jaguar will offer both standard and long-wheelbase versions, the last one adding an extra 125mm of legroom. Also all the latest Jaguar technologies will make their way into the new model: air suspension, Adaptive Dynamics (continuously variable damping), Active Differential Control and quick-ratio power steering deliver the blend of responsive, dynamic handling and refined, supple ride expected from a Jaguar.
2010 Jaguar XFR
The 2010 Jaguar XFR is simply the best sports car value on the market today. Don’t be fooled by the vehicle’s four door appearance because this factory tuned hot rod is anything but an ordinary sports sedan. The vehicle offers unmatched levels of performance, style and luxury. Staring off, the car’s 5.0 Liter supercharged V8 that pumps out 510 HP allowing the XFR to rocket to 60 MPH from a standstill in just 4.7 seconds. Next our XFR’s Aero Performance Design bodywork is covered in a very attractive Indigo Blue metallic paint and is made to look even better with the large 20 inch Nevis wheels. Finally the interior has been crafted with unique R soft grain leather and suede, materials you won’t even find in a Bentley, and it is all priced at only $80,000.
We thoroughly enjoyed our opportunity to get to know the XFR intimately, just being behind the wheel made our test editors giddy with excitement. Just knowing that there is so much power at your disposal is enough to put a grin on any gear head’s face. The XFR is an incredible performance machine that is capable of mind numbing speeds while still maintainging the elegance and presence that comes standard with any Jaguar. In our opinion the XFR is a steal, in order to find this level of performance, style and luxury prepare to spend a bit more than $100,000.
2009 Jaguar XF
Jaguar is proud to announce the all-new 2009 XF - a stunning four-door Jaguar that combines the style and performance of a sports car with the refinement, space and sophistication of a luxury sedan.
Scheduled to make its world debut at the 2007 Frankfurt International Motor Show in September, the new Jaguar XF is a reflection of the bold new design language that Jaguar will be using both now and in the future
